But you must be invested in learning to believe them. And for that to happen, you must become aware of your internal reactions and where they are coming from.

Affirmations are positive statements that can help you to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When you repeat them often, and believe in them, you can start to make positive changes. Self love affirmations will also help to mitigate the effects of stress. This is why it is very important to pay close attention to your thought dialogue. Eliminating negative talk and replacing it with talk that empowers and enhances your life, is an important step into manifesting experiences that support your desired life. Choose words that are rich, powerful and healthy.

When you do affirmations you are consciously taking the time to choose words to alter the way you perceive yourself. However, choosing words that uplift and empower your divineness, does not come in isolation. When we say affirmations, they only exist on the conscious level. The mind can’t hold all of the answers. You only believe your words if they come from your really feeling them.
